ALK Event Details:
This year’s Annual General meeting will be held at St Bees, Cumbria, and is open to all ALK members.
If you plan to join us for all or any part of the weekend’s events, including the meeting itself, please register using this link
The weekend programme will begin at 9am on Friday, 25th September and will end no later than 6pm on Monday 28th September.
The AGM and dinner will both take place on Saturday, 26th September. The AGM will commence at 3.30pm at Seacote Hotel, Beach Road, St Bees, CA27 0ES, and dinner will take place at the same location in the evening.
We will aim to include the following visits in our weekend programme:
Whitehaven harbour tours including access to the top of one lighthouse and ground-level access to the second: visits will take place on Friday 25th September courtesy of Whitehaven Harbour Commissioners.
St Bees Lighthouse: visits on Sunday 27th September. Unfortunately we have not been able to organise internal access to the lighthouse, but we will run a shuttle bus service from Seacote Hotel to the lighthouse for external views.
Walney Lighthouse: visits on Monday 28th courtesy of the Lancaster Port Commission.
